How this website collects and handles your information

Last updated: 18th September 2026

Aloft Australian Productions Pty Ltd (“Aloft”, “we”, “us”) runs the website aloftaustralianproductions.com. This policy explains what information the website collects about you, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Information you send us. The website has no forms or user accounts. If you contact us by email or phone using the details on this site, we receive your name, your contact details and anything you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our web server and security systems record technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, for how long, how visitors found the site, their approximate location (city or country) and the type of device they use. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are.

You can browse the website without telling us who you are.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses:

  • Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID), which tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They last up to two years.
  • YouTube cookies. The Body of Work page includes a video hosted on YouTube. YouTube, which is owned by Google, may set cookies when the page loads or when you play the video.
  • Login cookies, which are only set for people who log in to manage the website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiries
  • understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
  • keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with the services that run the website, or where the law requires it:

Information sent overseas

The website and its data are hosted in Australia. Information collected by Google Analytics, YouTube and Google Fonts is processed by Google, which may store it in the United States and other countries.

How long we keep it

  • Emails and messages: as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep proper business records.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Server and security logs: for a limited period, then deleted automatically.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is hosted on a managed server with a firewall and regular security updates. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
